2024 BLIND CHALLENGE

This year's MiHRC Blind Challenge will be July 27-28 hosted by "As You Wish Retrievers" in Harrisville, MI.  The Retriever Challenge is run on 150 acres of wooded land with multiple bodies of water. There are ~40 blinds to challenge you and your dog on varies concepts: over points, past points, shore-line blinds, channel blinds, and angle entry blinds. Over the course of the two days, you will run 20-25 challenging land and water blinds testing your dog on advanced concepts. The Retriever Challenge is for the handler as much as it is for the dog. Over the course of two days, as a handler you will learn how to read your dog, anticipate changes in direction, and practice a quicker sit whistle.  Cost is $150 for the weekend for the first dog, and $100 for each additional dog.

2024 MiHRC LATE SUMMER HUNT TEST

This year's MiHRC hunt test will be two days, Saturday Sept. 7 and Sunday Sept. 8.  Members are expected to help in various ways if they can.  Workers will get codes to ensure entry.  Please use the sign-up sheet below to assign yourself a role.
